My passion for art began at an early age - since I was about four years old when I had selective mutism where I could only speak a few words like "mama" and "agua." Art become my solace and I used it as a form of expression when words were non-existent in my mind.

In grade school, I sold my drawings for about $5 - 10 a piece because some of my classmates were willing to pay for my work. Around the ninth grade, several people brought it to my attention that I should be a tattoo artist. 

As I got older, I slowly drifted away from that, but I never forgot. Now, I'm making a comeback by building my art portfolio, and creating my site containing both a shop and gallery displaying my vibrant, muralist, psychedelic style type of art. 

Mural art is a huge part of my culture as well and it's a positive aspect that has been interwoven into my life as I was growing up. It served as a creative form of escapism next to writing.
